Dealing with the Bank While in Foreclosure in El Paso, Texas

They will stick you right back into foreclosure IMMEDIATELY and then you’ll owe the whole amount, not the new re negotiated price. So make sure make sure that you meet those deadlines. If you’re going to do it, do it.

Keep Good Records. You want to know who you’re talking to you at the bank and might even ask if they have a badge number. You need to keep a log in a book, put down: “January 1st 2020 at 8:30 p.m. I spoke to Tim…..” I know that’s hard to do, but you are talking about your house, so you want to keep good records, because when you’re talking to the next guy you can say “I talked to Tim on this date, on this date, and on this date”

Don’t Waste Time. Time is of the essence. If you need to sell quickly, if your pending foreclosure, if your home is in foreclosure, or if your behind on your payments, do something now! I know a lot of us, when we get into situations like these, we want to stick our fingers in my ears and not deal with it. We think “out of sight out of mind” so that you can relieve that stress.
